SUPER 8 - PORTUGAL
Videography | Photography | Art Direction
Rather than a simple travel journal, I wanted to create something that blends memories and sensations. In an age where everything is instant and digital, I chose a slower, more imperfect approach, where analog becomes a way of keeping memories alive.
This project brings together two analog practices: Super 8 film and silver halide photography. Created during a winter trip to Portugal, it explores the light, textures, and unpredictability unique to silver halide images, particularly through experimentation with expired film. Between movement and frozen moments, these images compose a sensitive narrative where randomness and memory intertwine.
