Fleeting Motion
Photography | Art Direction
With this project, I wanted to capture the energy and rhythm of running in a different way, exploring motion blur rather than classic sharpness.
Using a Nisi ND filter, I experimented with slow shutter speed photography to translate speed, effort, and the intensity of movement. I explored different framings, compositions, and angles to strike the right balance between abstraction and readability.
In post-production, I applied a retro, grainy edit inspired by film aesthetics, giving the images a timeless and textured feel. The result is a vibrant and emotional series, where running transforms into something almost pictorial, more a fleeting sensation than a frozen instant.
